If you haven't guessed by now I love glitter nail polish! I have been wanting to do this combo for a while but always forget about it and end up doing something different. The base coat is the Silver Foils Effects by Barry M and the glitter is Essie A Cut Above. I love the effect of combining these two nail polishes; I think it looks kind of futuristic! I never really wear the Foil Effect nail polishes on their own, I tend to use them as a base for layers as I think this really emphasises the shine of the polish. They work particularly well when combining with a shatter nail polish. I learnt my lesson after last time and remembered to apply a coat to Seche Vite before applying the glitter!
