My housemates and I decided to brave the weather and we headed down to Vauxhall Bridge to see the Flotilla. Although we didn't have the best view, we did have some handy periscopes that helped us see the Queen! After that myself and Sarah headed down to Piccadilly to check out the Big Lunch, but were forced to take shelter in Fortnum & Mason. After eyeing up the cakes we decided to have a bit of afternoon tea. I had scones and the special Jubilee blend tea. Sarah had a cappuccino and the carrot cake, which she said was delicious. As we left Fortnums there was a band playing and people were dancing despite the rain. It was a day that made you proud to be British!
